iHFG Lite for iPAD & iPHONE

This app provides the contents of the International Health Facilities Guidelines (iHFG) by HPI through an easy to navigate user interface.

The guidelines are divided into 5 Parts:

Part A-Administrative Provisions
Part B-Health Facility Briefing and Planning
Part C-Access, Mobility, OH&S
Part D-Infection Control
Part E-Engineering Services & Environmental Design

Part B is possibly the most important part of the iHFG. It includes important subjects such as:
Role Delineation Level (RDL) Guide
Planning
Functional Planning Units (FPU’s)

Currently 33 FPU’s (Hospital Departments) are offered with detailed text, generic Schedules of Accommodation (SOA) and Functional Relationship Diagrams (FRD).

In addition, Standard Components (SC’s) of design are offered in two formats, Room Data Sheets (RDS) and Room Layout Sheets (RLS). There are approximately 450 of each or a total of 900 SC’s.

iHFG Pro for iPAD & iPHONE

The upcoming new version of the iHFG Pro has all the same content and navigation system as the iHFG Lite. However, it also has the Health Facility Guidelines of several Countries, some based on the iHFG with additional local customizations. Most of the iHFG Pro’s 500 Standard Components (Medical Templates) have been enhanced to include Reflect Ceiling Plans. Also, iHFG Pro has a shopping cart system to allow you to purchase editable DWG versions of the Standard Components for as little as $1 each.

The guidelines included in the iHFG Pro for iPad and iPhone are:
